I’m a highly experienced Solicitor and Commercial Mediator, having specialised in dispute resolution for over 17 years. I’ve seen first hand the difficulties facing people in a dispute and the benefits that mediation can offer.

I believe in delivering thorough, effective and affordable mediation. I work with people in a clear, structured and confidential process, to give them the best chance of resolving their dispute or moving forwards as far as possible, in a way that works for them.

I’ve been accredited as a Mediator since 2012, being appointed across a range of commercial, contractual and personal disputes. This includes:

Acting mostly as sole mediator, with additional experience as co-mediator
Experienced in in-person, online and telephone mediations
Experienced in multi-party and group mediation
Significant experience representing clients (as their Solicitor) in mediations, including multi-party, 2-day and serial mediations, in high value / profile disputes.

I’m qualified as a Solicitor in Scotland as well as England & Wales and I’m dual accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Construction Law and a Specialist in Commercial Mediation.

My mediation services have been described by clients as “excellent and worthwhile”, providing “invaluable input”.

I’m also a Member of the Excellence in Mediation Committee of Scottish Mediation; a Member of the Law Society of Scotland’s Mediation Accreditation Committee; a Panel Mediator at the University of Strathclyde Tutor for the Mediation and Mediation Advocacy elective, in the Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice; and
